This focal image is probably one of the ones that I hesitated the most when applying the watercolor technique that I always used.
The dark contrasting colors have a direct impact on the effects that were possible on the face.
My main intention was to be able to take the attention of the viewer to the focal image eyes even when so much color was around of it.
I have used as a background the two wonderful background papers from the APP (stripes and dots) in different proportions.
The black and white stripes have balanced the composition and given enough of the white contrast needed,
creating a light impact from the left that was associated with the shadows in the face.
I used some of the transfers from the APP and I have color them to read.
