This is my entry for the lift challenge. Its also how Im doing my picture/page a day this year. Some things will be consistent. The stitching around the edge. Cathy Zs 6 x 8 templates in the center and the dates by Ali Edwards. (still playing with it but I think I like it so far) Until my upstairs is picked upIm doing operation 5 pick up and put 5 things away. Everything in my house needs a home and as of now that is not the case.and it really needs to happen. Today I found a sack from Christmas with Hot Chocolate and Chocolate covered potato chips so Operation 5 wasnt so bad. I made myself a cup of that Hot chocolate and added a little Kahlua and made it a white Russian I ate a chocolate potato chip and Ill be honest it was decadent. Then I lit the candle and scrapped.hours later and I am so relaxed0 stressI wonder was it the vanilla Lavender candle or the white Russian fyi the water drops are a macro photo of my window by my desk. ps some of the stash used is in the retiring sale!!!
Well Deb, it sounds like you had a wonderful time today!! I'd like to try those chocolate potato chips. I on the other hand did my hair three times, experimenting with what I can do with all the curl! Ugh!!
a page a day! that is ambition ... I would definitely need to keep those white russians coming. Good for you. Maybe I should try to adopt your 'five things a day'.
Love your journaling Debbie, please keep doing it... I am interested in your Operation 5 mine probably needs to be Operation 10 at least until my DD goes to college again, our house is taken by her...
Also that chocolate recipe requires a stopping by your house, wonderful page and initiation of your album. Ann
I love the Operation 5 idea! thanks for sharing that - your daily pages are going to be beautiful! this is gorgeous with the candles, glad you were so relaxed!
