Story: When I was about 5, we lived in a two story
house that did not have central heat. In
Indiana the winters were very cold so my
sister and I would sometimes sleep on the
sofa in the living room near the warm stove.
Our Christmas Tree was. also placed in that
room. On Christmas eve as we were snuggled
in, Santa came.

I was not quite asleep and watched him
sneak in and place dolls under the tree for
my sister and me. I was very surprised to
see him!

Over the many years, the doll has almost
deteriorated but I still have the dress. I dont
have many memories of Christmases when I
was young but I remember that one very well.
Im not sure if it was because of the beautiful
doll, or seeing Santa in person!
