The Process: I began with an ArtsyPaper from AP Mint Blizzard. I bumped up the contrast using curves. It had the mint green wash of color on it which I used as the backdrop for the photo. I attached the photo to a clipping mask, and then began layering additional clipping masks under the photo, changing their colors. Some were changed to various different blend modes, but most were kept on normal. I then began adding different spatters, some were colors, but most were changed to white or black. I added the flower, increasing the color saturation of it, and added a heavier, broad shadow. I added the pearl to the center. I edged the layout with the Textured Overlay. I liked the white lines in this overlay, so I duplicated the overlay, but masked all but these lines out, and then turned them to a 45 degree angle, moving them to different areas on, or around the photo. I added various ScriptTease elements, masking portions out. Again, some were placed behind the photo, and some on top. I finished up with the title, which was done in white, but with an aqua stroke added to it. The opacity of the white was reduced enough to show a bit of the background. A broad, soft and light shadow was applied to the title to make it stand out a bit more. Fini!!!
