Three days a week, I take care of my granddaughter while her parents are at work. Our winters are cold, too cold for me to be outside photographing. So on Monday, I made a photo backdrop stand out of pvc pipes and joints. This was my first attempt using it with my granddaughter Im sure Ill get a better expression next time at least I hope so!

Process: First, I clipped the photo to a fotoinspired mask, masking out part of the mask so that it blended into the transfers from ArtPlay Truth and Anything. I placed solid paper_4 from This is Life below. To frame the photo, I used artstroke_1 from ArtPlay Beautiful Day, resizing it a little as well as artstroke_1 from ArtPlay This Is Life and art stroke _1 from ArtPlay Anything. For my cluster, I used lace_1 and the tag from ArPlay Anything. The little heart is from ArtPlay Loved, the label strips from ArtPlay Happy Life, This is Life and Infatuated. To extend the vertical line created by the artstroke, I used splatters from several palettes, some of which I rotated or copied just parts to paste into position. The little flower at the top is from ArtPlay This Is Life and the brad from Artsy Blendz Snow Elements. Below the flower is another piece of lace from ArtPlay Anything. I used the pen tool to create the shape for my journaling so it would fit the tag. For my title, I erased the little words, substituting the word picture in the same font that I used for my journaling. If you are curious as to how I found the splatters that were black and white for example, I use a finder search on my MAC for spatters and word labels. A search of all the previews of Annas palette is also how I decided which ones had the colors that I wanted. So it isnt as time consuming as you might think.
