The Process
This is an old photo of my husband's mother as a young child. I left it as is with the cracks, scratches and pencil marks. First I selected a paper from ArtsyBlendz Squash. I clipped my photo to a watercolor fotoblendz, duplicated the photo and changed the blending mode to hard light and reduced the opacity. I duplicated the original photo again and changed the blending mode to screen and reduced the opacity. I placed a warm glow and a stained glow between the layers and changed the blending mode to color. I placed the window frame behind my photo, duplicated the frame and changed the blending mode to hard light. I added an artsy kardz behind the frame, hid a couple of layers and changed the blending mode to linear burn. I then duplicated the artsy kardz and flipped it vertically and moved it to the top of the frame. I added a transfer from AP Viaggio behind all the layers, changed the blending mode to hard light and reduced the opacity. Word art, elements, threadz and brushes were added to complete the page.
