A little play with some very old Instamatic photos...

Process: After placing solid paper_1 I positioned transfer_7 and blended the old Instamatic photo of my dad and my son, to which I had added some distressing, into the right edge of the transfer. I duplicated the photo and changed the blend mode to soft light. Above transfer_7 I placed transfer_3 and below I placed transfer_5 blending them together using layer masks. I positioned the psd copy of the multimedia tree and reduced its size. The journaling is just above the white paint and the word labels just below the tree shadow. I then adapted Anns watercolor tutorial for the photo with the gift bag and blended it into the background. Just above the paper, I placed the artstrokes as well as edge overlay_2. I recolored the overlay 50% gray, changed the blend mode to linear light and set the opacity 60%. I created a title and subtitles for each paragraph story.
