My Mum and her cousin probably caught by one of the street photographers that were around many moons ago. It seems strange to us now that folk made a living by snapping random photographs of people going about their business, but I'm glad they did!
I extracted the figures from the original photograph and then created the background using an old postcard of Glasgow from the late forties, when I'm guessing this was taken. Lots of playing about tonight with lots of different transfers and brushes layered one on top of the other in various modes - Hard light - colour burn and colour. Not sure what colour the tram should be but I like the pop of red.
