Trick or Treat Halloween 2009
This is a spread in a little book Im making for our sweet Cassie, who we just recently lost. She was 16 years old. Each spread will have a title page on the left and the focal photo on the right.
Process: Open a page to the dimensions of your spread so you can work on the whole spread at a glance.
Afterwards you can split the spread into left and right pages for posting, or you can post the whole spread.
Right Side: On neutral paper, place photo and mask. Size photo over mask and clip.
Apply the blending mode of your choice or duplicate photo and experiment with blending.
Left Side: Unify the two pages with an element, stroke or transfer that spans both sides.
Here I used the Skinny Lined Overlays No.4. and a paper from APGlance clipped to 12x12 FotoBlendz 5_3.
Place tag and enter title. Embellish spread with further transfers, brushes and elements.
Another stunning page for Cassie's album - your son is going to love it...I looked for the paw print first....it made me smile when I saw it...I love reading the process....
What a beautiful thing to do for such a dear member of your family. The pages you've posted are wonderful. You have inspired me...we just lost our sweet Stella last Saturday and I've been thinking about doing a book for her.
