This is one of my favorite photos from Canyonlands - I think it embodies all of what Canyonlands Park stands for - the many canyons, the many layers, the many colors and of course a River that runs through it.

I am so impressed! We were in Moab a few years ago, and went to Arches National Park, and just decided to skip Canyonlands. You have convinced me that we need to make a trip there! It seems so vast and varied.

Wonderful photo and I totally agree with your choice for 'the' photo that sums it up. For me the big thing is that blue haze in the distance.
