This delicate palette reminds me of the changes my hydrangeas have undergone in the last few weeks so I walked out with my iPhone this morning for this photo. The words came next.

Process: 1. I began with solid paper 4, placing my iPhone photo on my canvas. 2. I clipped one copy of the photo to overlay 1 and placed another copy above. To the top copy I attached a layer mask and blended it into a copy of transfer 1. I placed the fotoglow at 30% between the transfer and top copy of my photo. 3. On the top left, I used two more copies of the photo, the top on linear burn at 20%. Transfer 1 was rotated and blended above the photo. The bottom photo was clipped to transfer 4 with art stroke 2 and overlay 2 below the transfer. 4. On the bottom, I placed brush 5 above overlay 2. 5. To create the cluster, I used the thread from the artplay palette, then tacked down the button with a thread from UrbanThreadz 6. I used a layer mask to erase what would have been on top of the button. 6. I revised my journaling as I played with the photo and layout.
