Week 43+ Lyon Stars
This is the Lyon Stairs in the Marina district in San Francisco.
The 'sketch' is actually a sketch from the guidebook (Stairway Walks in San Francisco), blended on a transfer from Anna Aspnes ArtPlay Palette Lush (papers and other transfers also from this APP). This is superimposed onto a large photo of the same area in the background.
I used transfers from APP Lush to add additional lines extending the stairs and to color some of the sketch. Really liking the 'lines' going on in the composition, I used a paper from ArtPlay Palette Adventure (set to Divide) and Tartan Textures 1 to add additional lines and grids to the page.
All photos and transfers use layer masks and watercolor brushes and erasers to aid blending.

I finished up with a frame from Anna Aspnes Torn Photo Frames 2, set to Soft Light (~30%) to contain the mess
