Process: This layout began with a little reflection and some writing. Once I had written the statements and journaling, I began looking for a way to display my thoughts. 1. I used solid paper 6, bonus transfer 5, overlay 2, transfer 1, a stain copy and transfer 2 to create the background. I used layer masks to blend bonus transfer 5. There are two layers of the photo, both blended with layer masks a little differently because of their blend modes. 2. I resized the labels, placed them under the three sentences and used Urban thread 6 to tie down the strips. 3. I dragged over all the layers of element 3 and began deleting and adding to create the cluster around the frame. I attached a photo to the note. 4. For the title, I used different weights of one font, Archer. I applied an embossing style to the word, young.
