When I look at this picture, I feel so happy.
We were heading to Yosemite National Park. The beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains were rising ahead of us. It was the first snow we saw and we were so excited. We never could have guessed it would be so amazing. The stunning views, all the waterfalls, it totally rocked! Our first visit to a National Park, it was such a fantastic day.

Process notes:
I placed the solid paper 1 as my background paper. I added the photo to my page. I duplicated the photo (COMMAND/CTRL-J). The original photo was blended at color burn 100%. The second photo I blended at color burn 50% (so my photo had a little bit more color).
I added some splatters and magic sprinklez on the photo and the wordstrip.
On both corners of the bottom of the page I added some map transfer and blended the left one to soft light, the one in the right corner I didn't blend, because I liked it that way.
I added the wordart "Road Trip" and placed an urban threadz on it with a flower and button. The flower I recolored by adding an adjustment layer and playing with the sliders until I had the color that I liked.
I placed an overlay from Find my way (these are sooooooo pretty!) and blended it to color burn.
I still missed something on my page and decided to try some journaling (I love journaling on pages, but it is so hard to do!). Even though it was very hard, I am satisfied with it.
I used the font Avenir, 14 pt.
