Notes:
I took this photo on the car lot and it's NOT our new Jeep, not even the same model. I wanted it to look like something in the works, not like a new vehicle photo. I used the stitches and threads with the thinStrips to convey that idea. It's just too big an event, and so exciting placing the order, to let go by without documenting. Hand-crank windows have to be factory ordered.
Journaling:
We needed the reliability of a new Jeep for the places that would be dangerous if we got stranded. We also needed the safety of the old hand-crank windows. So we custom ordered the 2015 Jeep Rubicon from the factory. They said it would take about six weeks to build, and they would email us when they assigned the VIN number.
