The drive from Malpensa TO Turin was pretty direct with only one stop for espresso and a pastry. It was once we got to Turin that the confusion began. Its almost always like this though.
The driver can either listen to the GPS or me, not both. In the end, we took a looong way to go a short distance but found our apartment. The language barrier was greater than usual but Dick and our host went off to park our car and then we were on our own. Tired but set for a week in Turin.
While I didnt really know what I wanted for dinner, I did know that I didnt want pizza. In the end, not a lot was open and we ended up across Corso Principe Eugenio at a small restaurant with a long listing of...pizza. It was good but I had a feeling that getting a real meal would not happen too often if Dick had his way. When in doubt, he chose pizza.
Back in our apartment we found that some things were not as we expected and there was very little information left for us. Quite a change from our other rentals but forge on we did! (yes, I see restaurant misspelled!)
