Good Bye, Sweet Cassie

Cassie had a good life for 16 years!
She was a true Beagle and totally food oriented,
which made anybodys food a ready target.
One night, seeing an opening, she stole a porkchop off the plate of a dinner guest,
earning her the nickname, Porkchop.
Another time, she grabbed a cupcake off the plate of a guest who was blind.
I was horrified, but our friend just laughed.
True to her breed, she never lost her lust for food even as her body was giving up.
She was munching on treats as the doctor was administering her last sedative.

Process:
I wanted the page to have a soft focus to compliment a puppy photo of our dog.
Start by placing a light neutral background (APP Forget Me Not).
Open and place a clipping mask (Abstract FotoBlendz 7_5). Open a light paper from the Forget Me Not kit and slip to mask.
Clip photo to mask above paper. Set to color burn. Make a copy of photo and set to about 20% color burn.
Open and place frame from MultiMedia Frames 1_1. Turn off frame mask. Set frame to 70%.
Position and size doily transfer from frame on left side. Reposition white splatters if necessary.
Place mask 6_1 from Abstract FotoBlendz 6 under photo/mask layers. Clip solid paper2 from AP Forget Me Not.
Place transfer_1 from AP Forget Me Not above background paper. Position to allow loop to extend beyond photo.
Add blue pearl button to edge of loop from Forget Me Not elements.
Place Urban Threadz brushes (4_5, 4_6) edging left side of frame.
Add brushes from Gold Paint 2_3, 2_8 to edge of photo for highlights.
Edge left side of page with Forget Me Not_ transfer5 rotating as desired.
Add Gold brush 3_14 over edge brush.
WordTransfer on right side of photo is from APP Remember set at 60% pinlight.
I also added a hint of the WordTransfer on the left side of photo at 50% pinlight.
Add Edge Overlay from APP Viaggio. Clip with gold paper from APP Santa Nicholas.
Add title, journaling to complete page.
