I used a background paper from the APP( paper#6) what has a strong white background on the right.
I treated the focal image with watercolor techniques.
I duplicated at times the layers to achieve further intensity in the colors.
I also used Anna's brushes to create shadows were needed around the flower base.
I changed during the process the opacity, scale and direction of the brush,
always using the same brush with large surface and well defined edges.

I added a transfer with white background and I play with brushes to add a dark shadow effect.
As a touch of dark black I used some urbanstichez in both side of the image to create an effect of a shirt framing the face.
I added as well over the flower a small bow that was also treated with watercolor techniques and has its opacity reduced a bit to blend with the overall composition.
