Mellow Fruitfulness
I felt the need this morning to do a page which was quite clean in look - probably because I've been immersed lately in family vintage photos and much blending and shenanigans with attempting to convey emotion in those pages...This is purely a celebration of Autumn and a chance to use Anna's Epic transfers which remind me of fields! I think I will print this and stick it in a white IKEA frame!
30 mins - Layered transfers from AP Epic duplicated a couple of times and to these I clipped papers from AP Autumn Soul; changed a couple of layers to darken and colour burn then added an extraction I had done of foliage from an earlier page - Voila! ( I extract by changing the original photo to B/W - fiddle about with curves, brightness/contrast then make an alpha channel - that's a tutorial in itself!) Text is part of the John Keat's poem - To Autumn. I hated poetry at school but this poem got itself ltself lodged in my brain for some reason
