i think i should have used a different photo but this was just an experiment. i masked the photo. then, on a new layer, using a 2px hard-round-default ps brush, i made random straight lines. i added drop shadows to the lines then masked them over the photo. i added the rivets and the word brad. the goal will be to end up with something more engaging but that looks like one of those photos where the string goes from pin to pin.
