My dd was an art major, and when she was in art classes, she modeled for one of the painting classes. I came across this painting of her at a student art sale, and I was sad to find that it had been sold. The best I could do was get this photograph of the painting. I asked my dd to do more of these classes, but she informed me it was very hard for her to remain in the same pose for as long as they require, and she didnt want to do any more needless to say I was sad, hoping it would mean another possibility down the line of obtaining a student portrait of my dd.

The Process: I began with the Artsy Layered Template, and used a neutral cardstock from AP Artsy as the template backdrop. I deleted one of the two white frames on the template, as I only had one image. I attached the image to the other clipping mask, but deleted the white frame. I enlarged the the fotomask in the upper center of the template, and placed it in the upper right corner. I duplicated the image and attached it to this clipping mask. I then began playing around with the various layers of the template, recoloring them as desired. I added a few transfers from various other AP Palettes to enrich the background paper a bit. I then added both the brush and the paint from the MultiMedia Art, as well as the Dripped WaterColor brush and the WordArt. I added the journaling, and used the Freebie Excerpts in placed of some of the journaling. I added the gold frame, but blended out all but the upper right corner. I finished up with a painted edge.
