The Process
I began with my photo of the cemetery, using the artistic filter "paint daubs." I duplicated the photo and changed the blending mode to hard light, then clipped the layers to a watercolor photo blendz (recolored green). I merged the photo layers and placed it on a neutral background and framed it. Using a layer mask I hid the top edge of the frame to make the tree extend beyond. I placed several transfers behind my photos and added threads, stitchez and elements to the page. The poem is called "A Cemetery" by Emily Dickenson.
