We spent some time in Seattle last week amidst the colorful sights of Pike Place Market.
This photo was taken by a friend. Love the perspective of the umbrellas and the brilliant flowers.
Process:
Open and place a neutral paper. I chose a textured white.
Open and place the photo and layer it with an ArtsyKardz.
Set the AK to color burn or a mode of your choice.
Use the enhance tools to adjust the photo as desired.
Merge and flatten the photo and AK layers.
Open and place a mask and clip photo layers to mask.
(If your photo is on a blended mode you will first need to clip a solid paper to mask and then clip your photo layers)
Begin layering various transfers below the photo mask to create depth and interest.
Frame the photo. I used the frame from AP Breathe and set to hue mode.
Enhance the frame with various stitchez.
Complete the page with brushes and title.
Agree with you the perspective is fantastic, a beautiful reminder to look up every now and again. I also like how the color is so vibrant on the left and then fades to faded blues as the eye moves to the right. And to reinforce this you left that right end of the stitched frame open, brilliant!!
