I find that these days I get stressed and overwhelmed more than I would like to admit.Thankfully I have finally found what brings the most calm and healing in my life during those high intensity times. Painting. I used to think my art had to be perfect, so i avoided doing it most of the time because it just caused more stress. Now I see that art is what keeps me breathing when I feel like I am suffocating, but i need to be able to do it without stressing about perfection. My art does not always take a recognized form anymore, but it expresses emotions and embodies beauty to me, and that is wonderful. That is what is most important during stressful times. Because Beauty makes me happy!
