This is Dad in 2011, when he was 87. Before more recent surgeries and six months in the hospital. Before the oxygen for asthma. He has had so many health issues since then. He still does crossword puzzles in the paper and follows the stock market. He'll be 90 this year. If he makes it, he tells me.
I wanted this page in my journal because he's turning 90 at the end of this month and I'm going to visit to celebrate his birthday in early September. This before photo is my mental preparation for seeing him and realizing now how he has been changing so much.
