I found it among tall grasses along with milkweed and milk thistle. It's a very big plant with giant leaves and a flower bigger than a man's fist. I think it's pretty. I found it on Crown Point Road in Larimer County. Elevation: 10,500 ft. GPS: 4039'26"N 10532'18"W Date: July 18, 2007. Remember the turnoff for Pingree Park Rd. 63E from Poudre Canyon Highway 14. Crown Point Road heads west and follows Bennett Creek to the right at a Y where Pingree Park Road heads off to the south.
