The Chipmunk
Early morning lighting motivated us to be at the lookout around 7:30 AM. It surprised us that the drive was as long as a trip to Vail. A sign said the tower would open at 10 AM. We thought we'd hang around, and explored the area with jackets against the cold wind. Mosquitos were fierce. Once the chipmunk went into hiding, we decided not to wait.
