This past weekend was tough for me as it would have been our little Crickets ninth birthday. I felt I had to scrap a page of her, but it took me a while to figure out how to approach it until I saw Anna's new templates.
Journaling reads: I will forever remember our walks on Twin Peaks . I loved watching you explore the brush, and couldnt believe how well you climbed the rocks - just like a little mountain goat. I would watch as you would stop to take a look at everything below - such a beautiful view of our neighborhood. You were good at staying close, always checking to see where I was, and when I called you, I loved to see you come barreling down the trail, running so very hard.

The Process: I love Annas new WaterColor Templates. I added a background Artsy Paper from AP Wilderness, and began changing the colors of the various layers on the template. I then added the photos. At this point I added a few transfers and brushes from AP Wilderness under the photos. I added the wordART and a few elements, and finished up with the LoopDaLoop, the title, and the journaling. To add a bit of texture, I added the chevron paper, placed it on blend mode Darken, and masked out all but a bit of it.
