journaling: I treasure the small moments each day that uncover the beauty around me. I find joy in looking up at the sky and down on the ground at a mushroom hidden behind pine leaves. I wonder at the colors and the flight of the butterflies; at the song of a bird; at a lone rose in the midst of a forest of thorns; at the colors of flowers, both wild and cultivated. These moments and these treasures speak to me of the love of God and how He lavished it on His creation.
