My dh is doing a lot of travel for work, and on his last trip, upon hearing that he would be touching down in Paris, I asked him to get me a photo of the Eifel Tower from the air. It was completely fogged in, so no photo. He just came back from his second trip, again having to stop a bit in Paris, and was excited to tell me when he got home, that he got me a shot of the Tower.
I asked my dh to see if he could get a photo of the Eifel Tower for me, as I know we was flying into Paris, on his flight back from Italy. Unfortunately, he said the other side of the plane had the best shot, but I am thrilled to get this one.

The Process: Although I do try to keep things simple, I dont think I can do simple, as it always ends up that the pages I create are anything but simple. I began with a Kardstock from ArtPlay Solids Truth, and bumped up the contrast to emphasize the texture. I also darkened it just a bit using curves. I then placed the photo, and the frame. I blended the photo unto the background paper, and because the original photo was horrible and blurry, I duplicated it, and sharpened it dramatically, and then masked out all but the Eifel Tower. I then added transfers around the frame under it on the top, bottom and left side, and on top of the frame on the right side. I then masked out a portion of the frame. I wanted more texture, so I added to patterned paper, placing the smaller chevron paper on blend mode divide, and then masked all but a small amount around the photo. The larger chevron paper was placed on blend mode multiplied, and I blended in just under and to the left of the photo. I added the various elements, scribbles. wordart and spatters, and called it done.
