I treated this image with watercolor techniques.
You can see details of my basic watercolor technique in the first part of the composite series in Anna's blog.

Then I treated the water reflections with a light ripple effects,
the original image from where I started this composition was totally flat and I thought needed some water movement.
You can see my tutorial in reflections ripple effects Part 3 of the series artsy composites in Anna's blog.

The original image was extremely narrow so in order to achieve a wider effect and be able to get a better coverage of the painting in a better proportion to my 12 by 12 inches frame I stretched the image with a Ctr+ T keystroke,
I used Anna's brushes creating perspective lines on the left, following the building lines of the focal image.
I also added a number of transfers from the artplay palette among the watercolor layers to add colors and shadows in the water and buildings.
I added also a word art and I applied to the text a style that was similar in colors to my overall composition.
I also considered for the colors used in the brush work of the watercolor technique,
that the light was coming from the upper right corner, so I tried to create an effect from light to dark in diagonal across the LO from right->left simulating a light->dark.
I framed the composition with a final overlay frame that is mainly seen in the right upper corner.
