I love our talks together. You are always imagining, learning, and making me laugh. You can be silly one moment and sweet and childlike the next. You tell me facts about animals or jokes that youve heard. You ask interesting questions and want to know how things work. You make up stories and say you were just dreaming about them. You can make good judgements about other peoples behaviors and yet be innocent too. I love lazy weekend mornings laying on the couch and talking. I love our car rides together talking about school and books. I love hanging out in my office after school and snuggling in bed at night. I know I take for granted all the moments we have together. Everyone does. Those days when I want just five minutes on my own. But I hope I remember often enough to just enjoy the minutes I have to spend with you, listening to the baby boy that is growing up too fast.
