Journaling Reads
When my daughter was a younger girl
she was in love with playing the piano!
This was the one activity that I did
not have to argue with her about. She practiced
everyday and looked forward to her lessons
each week. Her teacher was a lovely woman
who had an amazing southern accent and her
daughter and mine were very good friends!
My husband and I attended every single music
festival that our daughter was in over the years
and she became quite an accomplished pianist.
Sadly when she got so sick at the age of 18
she could no longer play the way she used to.
It upset her that she could no longer make her long
slender fingers move as quickly over the keys
as they used to do. She tried over and over again
and made it part of her therapy, but it just got too
frustrating for her! The day we sold her little piano
was one of the saddest days of her life!
There went another piece of her life that she would
never get back again.
We all miss her BEAUTIFUL MUSIC
