i originally did this as a 10 x 5. it looked better but i couldn't get it to load properly to the gallery so i went back to 12 x 12.
after stamping each feather on a separate layer in light blue, i clipped various artsy kardz to each one. the artsy kardz are set to either normal, color burn, or linear burn. i added more color using a soft, round photoshop brush. when i was done with the color, i added splatters and the title.
this is my first try with these, but i can see doing different color waves or even a monochromatic look. you could also "cut" the feathers out and have a more dimensional look
