The Process
This is a page straight out of my mother's diary from 1942. Using the levels, contrast, and selective tools in the adjustment menu, I changed the aging diary page to black and white and created a high contrast. The white background was eliminated by selecting it with the magic wand tool and hitting the delete key.
The photo was clipped to a painted mask in Artsy Kardz Get Away 4x6. A couple of layers of textured were turned off to allow the photo to be more prominent. Embellishments were added to the page.
