I heard "The girl with kaleidoscope eyes' from the Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" I thought of Mimi's big eyes at once.
To emphasize her eyes, I used an adjustment layer hue/ saturation and made her eyes blue. I masked the rest.
