For the Anna Challenge - Splatter it!
Our little Cricket was a dog that had been abandoned on my parents dirt road. We fell in love with her and flew her back home with us. What an incredible part of the family she was.
Journaling reads: I cant believe how little Cricket is in this photo. She was blossoming into quite a dog. She had become a fabulous addition to our family - and we were lucky to have her, as she was so sweet and loveable. Rachel had never had a dog before, and now we look back and wonder how we ever got along without our little sweetheart!

The Process: Oh how I adore this new ArtPlay from Anna. To me it really tood this page up a notch, and made me really happy with the result. I began with a neutral background paper that had a linen texture. I added the photo, and then blended in the wood area beneath the photo. To the wood, I added a number of FotoBlendz and ArtsyPaint items, playing around with their color and blend modes, and moving them around until I was happy with the base. I added the deep textured transfer, placing it on blend mode luminousity, to take on the color of the background paper. I finished up the background paper by adding a few additional transfers to frame the photo. I then added the elements, the WordART and the journaling.
