2006 seems like a black hole in my life. I find very few photos and my calender is almost empty, just some simple notes of times and hours I've been working. I'm trapped in a vicious circle of unemployment, temp work and "plusjobb" [an unemployment work system that were in Sweden then]. John is doing his tests for Asperger's and gets the diagnosis. As I remember it, he's still quite happy about going to school, but that's about to change. The few memories I get from this time is that I'm extremely stressed, and often tired and sad. It's now I'm building the foundation for the collapse that will come in 2007 with anxiety and depression. In short: 2006 was not a good year.
