Prompted by Anna's wonderful 'Home' collection, I decided it was time to document one of my proudest accomplishments...my lake house and a decade of precious memories. In 1993, I purchased lakefront property and sketched plans for a house. I hired an architect to draw the final building plans. My goal was to give the impression that the house had been there for many yearsI searched architectural salvage and antique stores. My hunt yielded vintage newel posts and stair spindles, period light fixtures, and reclaimed hardwood floors. I thoroughly enjoyed every detail, every design choice.

For more than 10 years, the house was filled with love, laughter, and fun. I sold the house for a variety of reasons, but still miss it dearly. My youngest son has declared when he makes big money, he's going to buy it backa nice thought.

Journaling
In 1986, I started saving items for my future lake house...towels, bedding, and extra kitchen utinsels.
As I collected, people would say,
"I didnt know you had a home at the lake.
Id reply, without hesitation, "I don't, but I will someday. They would smile and without words, express...let her have her dream.

Note: Product list is for 2-page layout. I've made several books with the journaling on the left side of each layout and plan to do the same with this album.

Process for Left page:
Added edge to background paper and clipped paper to it. Clipped paper to leaf brush, embossed.
Placed glow behind leaf.
Added journaling.

Process for Right Page:
Started with template. Clipped my some of my photos directly to masks within the template.
Clipped some of my photos to some part of an ArtsyKardz (psd version), merged, and then clipped to mask within the template.
Added edge to background paper and clipped paper to it. Added transfers, brushes, and elements.
