I have made quilts for all of my 13 grandchildren. The last several, though, have not been traditional quilts, but rather more like blankets (quilters will know the difference) made from a wonderful "new" fabric (new since my oldest DGD was born) called Minkee. It is softer than one could imagine. Perfect for delicate newborn skin.

Clara is the youngest of 4 children, and the first girl. Not hard to imagine why everything she has is pink and lacy!
