I used the watercolor technique detailed in the tutorial of Composite techniques series in Anna's blog.

The background paper was placed among the layers of the main image helping to blend the colors of the watercolor technique that tend to be rather dark.
I used for the roses a fotoblendz called Flutter by the fotoblendz #4 and used as a mask.
