You will have to bear with me for a bit, as we just found out this past Tuesday, that our dog Cricket has a tumor on her heart. Although it is operable, we have opted not to do so, as it will likely not prolong her life much longer, and may put her through more pain than she should have to handle. The doctor was able to relieve the pressure around her heart, and told us we have from hours to maybe a week or so. I have not handled things all that well this past week, but my dd and I have decided the best thing to do is make her last days her best. She actually seems fine, but she could go at any time. We are blessed with wonderful weather right not, so we are able to spend the late afternoons on the walking trails across the street, and I am trying to get those great photos of her and my daughter so that my daughter will have wonderful memories to hold onto. Rachel has put on a brave front, as these days are for Cricket!

The Process: I began with one of the Artsy Papers from Annas new AP Happy Life. I placed the photo, and then the frame. I masked out the photo, and then began painting in the portions I wanted. I added a variety of elements, and transfers short and sweet.
