Amanda (of Taylormade Designs) is going to be in the SPOTLIGHT this week - she's hosting some GREAT challenges AND giving away awesome FREEBIES!! Check out her blog http://taylormadedigidesigns.blogspot.com/ for details.
This is the layout I did for her photo challenge. I've been in a crazy horrible funk and Amanda's Bring It In template was perfect. Also, the inspiration for my journaling came from one of my all-time fav scrappers - moon ko (mooner363). I'm so happy to have this documented now and it's all thanks to Amanda and Moon. ((((HUGS))))
journaling reads:
new developments for this week. one. on thursday i woke up and found you sleeping on your tummy. it was such a surprising sight to see because you always hemmed and hawed during tummy time. after a brief moment of panic (when did you roll onto your stomach? how long have you been laying like this?), and checking to see that you are breathing ok, i allowed myself to relish in the sweet sight of you in your new slumber position. will this be a new favorite, i wonder? two. you discovered your toes this week and now you can't seem to stop reaching for them. this new obsession of yours makes for challenging diaper changes. you like keeping mommy on her toes don't you? three. after battling with your eczema for a month, cycling through steroid creams, switching from regular to hypo-allergenic to soy formula, and then putting you on a 10-day antibiotic regiment, your rash is finally clearing up. you are a porcelain doll after all. who knew? five. you've graduated to size 4 huggies diapers. how did that happen so quickly? it didn't seem that long ago when we had to fold down those premie-sized diapers just to get them to fit on you. and now look at you. you're all "growns up" now (photos taken on 5.23.08. milestones documented on 6.08.08)
thanks for looking (and reading!)
