Did you know that there is a Bridge of Sighs in Pittsburgh, PA? Most people don't. Like the one in Venice, it connects the courthouse and the jail. Unlike the one in Venice, it does not cross over a canal. It crosses over a busy city street. I risked life and limb for this shot. Before I actually went to look for it, I was told that it was an exact replica, which it is not. It matches the adjoining buildings like its Italian counterpart does. I think it is equally beautiful and sad.
