This is a selfie that my dd took. As soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to scrap it. It fits for the last AnnaChallenge, which has recently ended, but I figured I would post anyway. The song I chose is from Nickel Creek, a progressive bluegrass band that Rachel got me interested it. They are originally from this area, and started when they were very young. Unfortunately they have disbanded a few years ago, but all three members are on their own, so I guess that just means more music to enjoy. The song is Jealous of the Moon, from the CD Why Should the Fire Die. A wonderfully harmonized song that is very haunting - you can listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFQN0LUlm-E&list=AL94UKMTqg-9DQ9PYIqMDH155PF6rKzOyl
Lyrics:
Tryin' on a brand new dress
But you haven't worn the old one yet
You've come too far To turn around now
You've given up the good fight
You're as strong as anyone
You're back where you started from
I see you're back where you started from
Starin' down the stars, jealous of the moon You wish, you could fly
Just bein' where you are, there's nothin' you can do
If you're too scared to try
Drag your pretty head around
Swearin' you're gonna drown
With a beautiful sigh
An' a river of lies
Starin' down the stars, jealous of the moon You wish, you could fly
Just stayin' where you are, there's nothin' you can do
If you're too scared to try
Why don't you call me, I could save you
Together we'll find a God, we can pray to
That'll take you by the hand
I hate to see a friend of mine
Laughin' out loud
When she's cryin' inside
But you've got your pride
Starin' down the stars, jealous of the moon You wish, you could fly
But you're stayin' where you are, there's nothin' you can do
If you're too scared to try
You're starin' down the stars, stay where you are
You're jealous of the moon but there's nothin' you can do
If you're too scared to try, if you're too scared to try

The Process: The hardest thing about this layout was picking out the song. The layout was created by first placing the gorgeous paper from PortalART. I needed a bit of width for the song, so I transformed the paper, by stretching it enough that the song could fit. I added a few of the Artist Edge Overlays just to darken the right edged and the top and bottom. I added the song, and the Band name, and was done.
