Reflection

This was during a trip to Bodie, California, and old gold ghost town in Mono County. I just decided to take a shot of the window, sort of Vivian Maier-ish, and ended up with the view of the room through the window along with the reflection of town hall in the distance, along with my dh and myself (in red jacket). The photo came to mind when I saw this weeks AnnaLift by Tamsin https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=300190&title=reflection&cat=1351

The Process: I began with the photo and the wonderful aged frame from AP Sparkle. I chose my background Artsy Paper, and then began adding a few of the transfers. I added the FotoBlendz, changing its color to the pale greyish blue. I added a series of Sparkle Edge Overlays, scaling them down to create a series of lined frames around the photograph. I added the button, word strip. The title was created by leaving a space between each letter, and then added a dot between each letter at midheight. I added one final Sparkle Edge Overlay keeping it full size. I then added the ScriptTease brushwork, and the Urban Stitchez. I then added a fine lined paper that was placed on Blend Mode Divide. I masked out all of the diagonal stripes except a bit around the photo. The final item I added was a WarmGlow, which I recolored to the soft blue. I placed it on blend mode Multiply and placed this behind the photo, near the page title.
