Despite the shutdown we had a splendid time. Much revolved around dining out . We sampled a wide range of DC faire including a lovely evening al fresco with Isabelle and Maggie. While we dined so did some voracious fleas - on our feet and legs!!! On Sunday evening I accompanied Ngiste and Isabelle at their church, St. Marks, for the blessing of the pets commemorating St. Francis. After a final room service breakfast I caught the train up to New Jersey to begin another week of work on the road.
