*Notes on using Artsy Layered Templates*
When I use an ArtsyLayered Template, I usually turn off* the frame layers and use only the paint and transfer layers.
*turn off a layer by hitting the eye icon to the left of the item in the layers window. When the eye disappears, the layer is off.
Since I usually create one photo pages, this process better fits my designs. Later I might use and turn back on,
one of the ALT frames if it fits my design, or choose a frame from another file.

*Process*
Open ALT 16 and save as with a new name. Turn off layers for the three frames (includes frame, mask, shadow for each).
Place backround paper. I used the watercolor paper from AP Seafoam.
Open photo and make enough copies to clip to the paint and transfer layers you want to use.
Lock photo layers before clipping to various layers, ensuring all copies of photo move together when repositioned.
Clip photos to paint/transfer layers. Use all or just some of the layers. Turn off the layers you dont want to use.

(Experiment with Blending Modes)
When photos are in place begin experimenting with various blending modes and opacities to achieve the look you want.
Adjusting modes on paint and transfer layers as well as photo layers can result in exciting changes.

(Flatten Image)
When happy with the results, flatten image and save as jpg.

(Open a New File)
Place a neutral background paper.
Place branch paper from AP Barren Sunrise over background and set to color burn mode.
Place frame (psd) from AP Harvest on page and position as desired.
Open flattened jpg image and clip to frame mask.
Open and place a LeafGlow No.1 in left corner of frame and set to ColorDodge.
Edge page with ScriptTease Fall Overlay No.1 clipped with two copies of same paper as background.
Set second copy of clipped paper to 50% Multiply.
Complete page with buttons, dot brush and WordTransfer/journaling.
Those colours are fantastic! Thanks for the extensive description of your workflow!

This is gorgeous! I love the words blended in to the page! thanks so much for the description of how this page was created.
