Yet another page for the Book That Has No End--my Chicago vacation book. This page actually started out as my take on the latest AnnaLift https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27166, but after fooling around with blending modes and page composition, I decided I liked this page better with only the single extraction on it.
So, since the name of the extracted object is glaringly obvious, I probably don't have to tell you what this is...but I will anyway. I just can't help myself! The Chicago River is really three branches plus a few canals that run through the city of Chicago, including the main downtown area known as the Loop. While one can take guided boat tours of this river system (which we did), the river also acts as a thoroughfare, and locals and tourists alike use water taxis to get from one part of the city to another. I photographed this water taxi as we were crossing the Michigan Ave. bridge on foot.
