This is my page for this weeks Anna lift - thanks to Margeda for her inspiring page. This photo is of the Chateau Gaillard which was the castle of Richard the Lion-heart. The photo was taken as my sister and I cruised along the Seine. We stopped at the town below the castle and took the road (very steep) up to the Castle. I could see why he chose this to build his Castle.
